I'll start up some PPR type controversial shit if you want. If anybody here cares enough to argue. What should it be? My usual PC stuff that I'm against, or should I bring out the big guns like abortion and gay marriage and SEC football?

ack, no, I vote against stirring up sh*t just for the sake of doing it. That outrage will happen easily enough in its own good time.
So, who here likes those Brit shows on NPR? (question is to Americans, Canadians, Australians, etc.) And who in the UK likes American shows, and which ones - or don't you get those there?
Full disclosure, I like the Brit shows. Sometimes I don't even follow the plot, I just like the accents and listening to the dialogue as background noise.

I didn't know of anything like that. I used to listen to NPR all day Saturday and most of Sunday back about 15 years or so ago. I haven't heard it since we moved down here really. My husband and older daughter keep it on the car radio but that's all. I haven't listened to the radio except when driving in forever. What kind of shows are they?

Oh silly me, I didn't mean NPR, I meant PBS - TV not radio. I've been napping today to re-runs of Downton Abbey.
