I am addicted to the internet, and was addicted long before most people were. I didn't have internet access this weekend, and I felt like I was collapsing to the ground. I'm on a public computer and hopefully I will have internet access this week, as they need to repair my ethernet port.

I'm not sure what you're looking for by way of responses. I know a change in routine or preferred activity is unpleasant, but you'll probably survive.

I was thinking of the specific habit where I feel drawn to the bright visuals of the screen and infinite customizability. Anyway, I have internet again

Excellent!
I think that computers and interactive media give immediate feedback that is viewed as gratifying, whether it is likes, responses, views, or even just seeing a post you have carefully written. This has the potential for addiction. People need to watch themselves for when it becomes more of a negative than a positive. In addition, people with social skills deficits need to beware of meeting their needs for human connection with a purely nonhuman device as intermediary, because if it ever moves to the next stage, they may have some trouble maintaining. (I am hardly the first person to express this opinion.)

Ah, sounds kinda like me. I've been a part of the Net since there's BEEN a Net. I've spent... way too much time in it, and seen too many things, about half of which I kinda wish I hadnt seen.
Boy, has it changed though. It's changed alot over the years.... too much. I dunno. There are days when I miss the ancient, slow as dirt modems and their wild squealing noises, and the simpler interfaces and overall look of many of those browsers (usually it was AOL for me) and web sites. I liked the aesthetic of the whole thing, still do, probably always will. I also liked the part where the machines WERENT ALWAYS ONLINE. Nowadays it's hard to control that without pulling cables out, and that can cause issues.
Regardless though, I remain attached to it nonetheless.

I do tend to start exacerbating if my internet service stalls.

I have an internet addiction caused by online gambling. It might be luck or some kind of magic, but it looks like I finally found a proper non-scammer casino online. So I think I won't fight this addiction for now. As long as novomatic casinos keeping me fed.

Playing online is not that bad, but addiction...it can ruin your life, you know. Once I lost all my money and I didn't know what to do. Luckily, I found the place where I was able to take loan easily, it was www.utahpaydayloansonline.com . The interest rate was not that high and I delivered money instantly. When I paid them back I realized that playing is not that healthy and rationa as it seems. So, I stopped. And strongly recommend you to do the same!
